THIS SESSION WILL CONSIDER THE ROLE OF THE TARGET DIFFERENCE IN A RANDOMISED TRIAL SAMPLE SIZE CALCULATIONS AND METHODS FOR SPECIFYING IT.
It will cover the role of the target difference in a randomised trial sample size calculation, review the approaches and methods for specifying the target difference and identify the main issues to consider when choosing the target difference.
