Zi Jian (Shawn) Lau
BM-DPhil Student
Zi Jian (Shawn) is a BM-DPhil student intercalating his Graduate Entry Medicine studies at the University of Oxford to pursue a DPhil in Cancer Science under the supervision of Dr Dario Carugo, Professor Claire Edwards, Dr James Edwards and Professor Eleanor Stride. Shawn completed his bachelor's degree in Cancer Biomedicine at University College London. Shawn is currently a Honorary Research Fellow at UCL's Division of Surgery & Interventional Science.
Shawn's project will focus on developing an ultrasound-mediated delivery platform for osteolytic and osteoblastic bone metastases. Clinically, Shawn is currently interested in neurosurgical oncology and interventional oncology.
