Prakash is an orthopaedic specialist trained in the UK having completed fellowships in Oxford and the US, India, Switzerland and Austria. He has a PhD (DPhil) inMusculoskeletal Sciences from Balliol College, University of Oxford for work related to patient focused outcomes and patient-centered care in orthopaedic trauma. The drive to make a strong contribution in this field has led to scholarships from the Harvard School of Public Health in Health Outcome Measurement and applying this education to patient outcome projects at the Hand & Upper
Extremity Service, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Prakash has expanded his interest toward value based health care and technological innovations in health care by collaborating with University of Oxford Value Based Health Care Research Program and becoming alumnus of the Porter Intensive Seminar, Harvard Business School, and Innovating Health for Tomorrow Program at INSEAD Business School. He is also a consulting clinician for value creation and technological innovations teams in industry. Prakash is currently undertaking anMRes in Health Care & Design at Imperial College London and Royal College of Art developed by Professor Lord Ara Darzi bringing his knowledge, skills and experiences to design-led innovations in health.
