THIS SESSION WILL COVER THE IMPORTANCE OF RANDOMISATION AND BLINDING IDENTIFYING THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THESE TWO ASPECTS OF TRIAL DESIGN.

It will cover the different methods of randomisation including simple, stratified and minimisation. The main issues of blinding will be explored including what is meant by double and single blinding and the importance of identifying exactly who is blinded to what.
