This session covers:
- The importance of randomisation and blinding
- The differences between these two aspects of trial design
It will cover the different methods of randomisation including simple, stratified and minimisation. The main issues of blinding will be explored, including what is meant by double and single blinding, and the importance of identifying exactly who is blinded to what.
