You will work at the Kennedy Institute as a Consultant Rheumatologist, with regular, weekly, clinical commitments at the Oxford Experimental Medicine Clinical Research Facility, including out-patient clinic sessions. The job plan will be based on up to 2 PAs of clinical and related service. You will teach through University lectures, seminars and practical classes as requested by the Director of Clinical Research at the Kennedy Institute, provide support to clinical trials within the department and actively apply for grants to support the NDORMS clinical research goals.
You will be medically qualified and have completed your CCT in Rheumatology, have full GMC Registration and a licence to practice and have expertise in the evaluation and assessment of novel therapies for inflammatory diseases. You will have expertise in the Measurement of outcomes for clinical trials in arthritis with evidence of international recognition of achievement within the subject area and have substantial experience and contribution to the teaching and mentoring of clinical fellows. A track record of publications in musculoskeletal sciences and teaching experience in a Higher Education Institute are desirable.
