Daniella Gimbosh
Taught MSc student
I am a first-year student on the part-time Taught MSc in Musculoskeletal Sciences at the University of Oxford. Alongside completing my MSc, I am currently working as a Clinical Trials Patient Recruiter and part-time Scientific Writer.
In June 2022, I graduated from Imperial College London with a First-Class Honours BSc in Medical Biosciences. During my undergraduate degree, I had the opportunity to complete various lab projects, one of which focused on investigating the effect of knocking down the Coronin-1B gene on Uppsala 87 Malignant Glioma cell migration in glioblastoma multiforme metastasis. During my final year, I completed a placement as a Science Communications Assistant at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences. Alongside my studies, I enjoyed being a part of various societies and committees, including the Ethics and Environment Network and Musical Theatre Society, as well as working as a contributing writer at the Imperial Bioscience Review and earning my C2 qualification in Spanish.
Prior to starting my studies in the UK in 2019, I grew up in Cyprus, but I am originally half Serbian and half Russian. I am really excited to continue my studies at NDORMS!
