Justin Wormald

NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery

I am an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow and Specialist Registrar in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. My undergraduate training took place at the University of East Anglia, where I attained my MB/BS and Master of Health Research (MRes) with distinction. I undertook my foundation years and core surgical training in London at St. Mary's Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

I am interested in clinical research in plastic and reconstructive surgery with a focus on systematic review and meta-analysis, clinical trials and outcome measurement. I will be working on innovative methods of measuring outcomes in hand trauma in Oxford as part of the Hand Research Group at NDORMS. My clinical training will be based in the Thames Valley Deanery and I am currently working as a registrar at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
