Qingze Gu
Postdoctoral Health Data Scientist
I am a postdoctoral researcher working in the Planetary Health Informatics group and the Pharmaco- and Device Epidemiology group at the Centre for Statistics in Medicine. With a multidisciplinary background in clinical epidemiology, health data science, and pharmacology, my research is dedicated to leveraging routinely collected healthcare data to inform clinical decision making.
I completed my DPhil in Clinical Medicine at the Big Data Institute, University of Oxford, in October 2024. My thesis focused on exploiting electronic health records to improve infection management.
Prior to this, I obtained my Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford and my Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Engineering (BEng) from the Harbin Institute of Technology in China.
