Laboratory Technician in Tissue Engineering

Laboratory Technician in Tissue Engineering

I graduated in Biochemistry from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014. Since then I have gained experience as a Laboratory Assistant at the Jenner Institute (Old Road Campus) and later as a Laboratory Technician at Oxford BioMedica which specialise in developing gene therapeutics.

Within NDORMS, I work under Dr. Pierre-Alexis Mouthuy on the humanoid bioreactor project by helping to produce physical components of bioreactor chambers. I also work with students new to the group training them in the discipline of cell culture and I also aid them with their experiments.

I enjoy drawing, ice-skating and dancing Salsa as a member of the Oxford University Salsa Society (OUSS). I have recently began tutoring as part of the Oxford University Dance Club (OUDC) which I very much enjoy.
