Researcher

I am a visiting researcher funded by the China Scholarship Council. My research focuses on exploring the role of inflammatory pathways in the development of knee osteoarthritis. This involves studying the inflammatory pathways in cartilage regeneration, subchondral bone remodelling and synovitis using the destabilization of the medial meniscus model in transgenic mice. I am also interested in studying effects of physical therapy on knee osteoarthritis.

My current research project aims to explore the role of biomarkers and genetics in predicting knee osteoarthritis.
