This session will provide a basic introduction to systematic reviews and why they are important.

It will cover the different phases of a systematic review including:

  • How to formulate a research question
  • Define the inclusion criteria
  • Search for the evidence
  • Extract data
  • Assess risk of bias
  • When to perform a meta-analysis
