Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of multi-centre randomised clinical trials. You will assist in finalising the protocol, study materials, training packages for collaborating sites and prepare trial specific instructions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trial Manager to join the Oxford Trauma and Emergency Care group at the Kadoorie Research Centre, Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS), to be based at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
 
As a Clinical Trial Manager you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of multi-centre randomised clinical trials. You will assist in finalising the protocol, study materials, training packages for collaborating sites and prepare trial specific instructions. You will also oversee data entry on the computer database (assisted by a Data Entry Clerk) and perform regular systematic checks of information held on trial database as required and you will act as a resource, providing advice and support to colleagues both internal and external to Oxford Trauma and Emergency Care Group to promote good research practice.
 
You will hold a Degree in a biomedical or associated subject, or other relevant qualification, or proven experience in clinical research. Extensive experience in leading the conduct of multi-centre clinical trial in accordance with GCP and the research governance framework,  along with experience of working within UK clinical research structures and regulatory and ethical systems, is essential. Previous involvement in development of clinical reporting forms  and experience of working in a UKCRC registered clinical trials unit are desirable.
