NDORMS Professors lead Total Joint Replacement training course in Zimbabwe
Last month Professor Chris Lavy and Professor Hemant Pandit (who previously worked at NDORMS and now works at the University of Leeds) led a Total Joint Replacement training course in Harare, Zimbabwe, in partnership with Zimbabwe Orthopaedic Association. From 9-10 March, Prof Pandit taught online along with local faculty in Zimbabwe. It was attended by delegates from Zimbabwe, Malawi and Zambia.
Prof Pandit said: “Running a hybrid course is always challenging! The weblink worked well, the audience participated brilliantly, and it was so nice to see local faculty taking on mentoring roles which clearly is the way forward for cascading knowledge and skills transfer. Well done to everyone!”
