Postdoctoral Research Assistant
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Botnar Institute, supervised by Prof. Lynne Cox, Prof. Katja Simon, and Dr Ghada Alsaleh. I have investigated human immune system ageing during both my BSc Immunology and Infection at University College London and during my DPhil at Oxford. My doctoral and current research focuses on interventions that rejuvenate immune responses in old age by their ability to modulate mTOR activity and DNA damage. I work both with primary human cells in vitro and with samples from human clinical trials testing anti-ageing interventions.
