Lucy Eldridge
Head of Data Collection Systems
As OCTRU's Head of Data Collection Systems, I manage the database team within OCTRU IT, primarily responsible for providing clinical databases to our trial teams. This involves building eCRFs, randomisation systems, writing reports, and setting up public facing trial websites. We also run the online helpdesk.
In addition, I provide systems training to our users, and I've been involved in a number of IT projects, such as designing an online therapeutic training programme which has been completed by just under a thousand clinicians to date. I'm interested in finding innovative solutions to common data issues.
Before joining OCTRU in September 2015, I graduated with a degree in Human Sciences (University of Oxford), and worked as Database Officer for the Blavatnik School of Government for eight months. In this role I helped shape a new contacts database, and trained other staff in how to use it.
