- Research physiotherapist
I joined the department in 2013 as a research physiotherapist and coordinator for the FAIT trial, a randomised controlled trial comparing arthroscopy versus physiotherapy and activity modification for the treatment of femoroacetabular impingement. Prior to joining the department, I completed a PhD on the topic of obesity and total knee replacement outcomes, jointly funded by Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. In addition to my academic research experience, I have previously undertaken teaching, assessment and module management as a part-time lecturer for undergraduate and post graduate physiotherapy students at the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
