OCTRU Medical Statistician
I am a medical statistician under the Centre for Statistics in Medicine (CSM) and Oxford Clinical Research Trials Unit (OCTRU). As a trial statistician, I contribute to the design, conduct and analysis of clinical trials in multidisciplinary teams, with a majority of my work being in trauma-related research.
I am keen to collaborate with the team of statisticians at OCTRU to develop the methodology of clinical trials, but also have an interest in working with large observational health datasets. Prior to my current role, I worked on analysing the UK Biobank data in the Department of Population Health.
I completed my MMath degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MMORSE) at the University of Warwick in 2021. My dissertation was based on the application of statistics in the field of ecology, and I have had further research experience during an internship with Imperial College London using Bayesian hierarchical modelling to study the transmission of Covid-19.
