The HOPE-e trial has been given the green light and is now open to recruitment.

HOPE-e, a new hand osteoarthritis study: We are recruiting women with painful hand osteoarthritis aged 40-65 and between 1-10 years after their menopause to take part in a research study of a drug treatment for hand pain.

The study is recruiting patients in both Oxford and London. The study is being funded by the National Institute for Health Research, and is being supported by the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis Versus Arthritis.
