Trial designs for late phase trials
Elizabeth Conroy - OCTRU Lead Statistician
The most common trial design for late phase trials is the parallel-group randomised trial, but others design types exist. The choice of design depends on a variety of factors, largely relating to the research question.
This seminar will introduce some of these key trial designs, their principal design features and demonstrate when it is appropriate to use them. Real trial examples will be used to fully demonstrate these designs used in practice.
By the end of the seminar, attendees should be familiar with some common trial designs, understand their characteristics and the main considerations that lead to their use.
No registration required.
