Based within a large musculoskeletal clinical setting, NDORMS is ideally placed to participate in clinical trials. The Department hosts the Oxford Clinical Trials Research Unit (OCTRU), which is a fully registered CTU and leads and co-ordinates strategy, operations and systems across a range of therapeutic areas. Many of the NDORMS Studies are jointly co-ordinated through the Surgical Intervention Trials Unit (SITU), the Experimental Medicine and Rheumatology group (EMR), the Oxford Trauma team or the Centre for Rehabilitation Research in Oxford (RRIO).
