EQUATOR Lightning Workshop 2019: Planning for publication
Jen de Beyer
Tuesday, 26 March 2019, 4pm to 5pm
Hosted by UK EQUATOR Centre
What do you and your co-authors need to decide before you start to write? Get your message, audience, and target journal sorted now to ensure a smooth publication process!
Workshop
Save yourself endless rewrites and reformatting by planning your research article with your coauthors before you start to write. We will walk through deciding the core message of your article, who your target audiences are, and what you'd like each audience to do with your work. We'll talk about how to choose a target journal that best suits your audience and message and meets your funder, institution, and coauthor requirements, without simply relying on impact factor.
Presenter
This EQUATOR workshop will be led by Dr Jen de Beyer. Jen is CSM’s science writing, dissemination, and publication specialist. She’s here to help your research reach its full potential through clear, complete writing and communication skills that help you reach your target audience.
