Oxford distributed analytics for network research group (OxInfer)

The Oxford distributed analytics for network research group (OxInfer) is co-leading the development of analytic pipelines for the Data Analysis and Real World Interrogation Network (DARWIN EU) project. Recently established by the European Medicines Agency, DARWIN EU aids regulatory decision-making by generating evidence from routinely collected healthcare data from across Europe.

To support the process of generating reliable evidence from a distributed network of real world data sources, we are developing analytics which span the gamut of the evidence generation process, from developing reliable phenotypes for identifying study populations to creating web applications for disseminating study results. These build on the foundational work done by the European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) and the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) community.
