A number of students have undergone training with the Counselling Service to act as peer supporters and provide a listening ear for those with welfare concerns.

NDORMS has three fully trained Student Peer Supporters, Nicole, Alice and Lion. You can contact them to arrange a meeting, coffee or walk etc. should you have any concerns that you don’t wish to discuss with your supervisor or Graduate Studies Team.

There are a number of additional peer supporters available within the Medical Sciences Division. Please contact them directly or come to one of their drop-in sessions if you want chat confidentially with one of them.

Many MSD peer supporters also joined the Coffee Ambassadors, a student society which offers free peer support to students and junior researchers.
