My project focuses on investigating the cellular biology defining healthy and diseased, developing and ageing tendons. By studying tendons at single-cell and spatial transcriptomic resolutions, I aim to provide critical metrics for informing the design of biomaterials capable of guiding diseased tendon tissue repair towards a normal phenotype.
