En Lin qualified from Imperial College London in 2018. He was appointed to the academic foundation programme in 2018, and academic clinical fellowship in trauma and orthopaedics in 2022. He was awarded a NIHR doctoral research fellowship for his research investigating complications following surgery for hip fracture, and completed his DPhil in 2025.
