My role is split into providing project management support to two research groups: the Transplantation Research Immunology Group (TRIG) (.3 FTE) and the Verrill Pathology Group (.2 FTE).
This includes taking responsibility for and managing the administrative processes involved in running multi-dimensional, basic and translational research groups.
Part of my remit is to provide financial management information including costing research projects; to take a strategic and planning role and manage staffing, grants and projects. I also have responsibility for the group websites, data management etc.
I have a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management (Merit) from Oxford Brookes University and substantial project management experience including various roles as Work Package Manager and Steering Committee Member on EU grants. I joined Kathryn and TRIG in May 2005 from my previous role as a College Registrar and I became a member of the Verrill group in early 2016.
