Clinical Research Fellow in Metabolic Bone Disease
I am part of Rafael Pinedo-Villanueva’s team as a Clinical Research Fellow in Metabolic Bone Disease. I will be helping to deliver a clinical mentoring programme for fracture liaison service (FLS) practitioners across 16 countries in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America as part of the International Capture the Fracture Partnership. I will also be working on care and mortality data in patients with X-Linked Hypophosphataemia.
I am also part of the RUDY study group investigating rare bone diseases and managing complex osteoporosis with Professor Kassim Javaid at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences. I will also be working on a study of patients who suffer for atypical femoral fractures and the utility of using FLS data to identify patients with myeloma.
