Senior Human Resources Manager

I work with the Human Resources team to deliver a professional HR service to support the Department’s objectives, in compliance with University-wide standards and employment legislation.

I work closely with the Head of Department, the Head of Administration, the Head of Finance, the Head of Operations of the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, the Institute Administrator of the Botnar Research Centre and with the Equality and Diversity Advisor. The Human Resources team also have strong working relationships with the Grants and Communications teams and provide advice and support to Principal Investigators, academics, researchers, managers, staff and visitors.

I also support the Athena Swan initiative and am a member of the Athena Swan Self Assessment Team.

I have an MA (Hons) in Classics from the University of St Andrews and have worked at the University of Oxford since 2002. I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
